Perforated Metal Filters: Flat discs, cylinders, baskets, or formed filter elements. Orders use hole diameter from 0.2 mm; custom outside dimensions.
Stainless steel, aluminum, low-carbon steel, galvanized steel, copper, or plastic plate; the supplied range is 0.2-20 mm.
Description
Perforated Metal Filters are rigid filtering or support parts made from metal sheet with controlled openings. They can be supplied as flat sheets, discs, cylinders, baskets, or other formed shapes. The aperture sets the approximate size of particles that can pass, while sheet thickness and geometry provide structural support. Compared with a flexible filter medium, a perforated metal element is useful where fixed openings, repeated cleaning, or a self-supporting form are required. For liquid, air, or dry-particle service, the final shape is chosen around flow direction, available space, cleaning method, and the way the part connects to its housing or machine.

Product Features
Perforated metal filters' rigid metal structures do not shed loose fibers and provide stable support at the filtration point.
Many designs can be cleaned and returned to service rather than discarded after one cycle.
FAQ
Q: Can the filter be cleaned and reused?
A: For Perforated Metal Filters, many rigid elements can be washed or blown clean, provided the process is compatible with the material and retained contaminant.
Q: Does a 0.2 mm hole mean fine filtration?
A: It retains particles larger than the opening; actual performance also depends on shape, flow, and any backing layer.
Q: Can you form cylindrical filters?
A: Yes. Diameter, seam, end connection, and overall length must be shown on the drawing.
