Basketball court fence: Chain-link or welded mesh with tubular frame. Orders use 50 × 50 mm common mesh; 3-4 m common height.
Low-carbon or galvanized steel wire; the supplied range is 3.6-5 mm wire.
Description
A basketball court fence is the metal perimeter used to contain balls, define the court edge, and protect nearby circulation areas. Welded mesh and chain-link mesh are both common choices. The required height depends on the court layout and what sits beyond the boundary, such as roads, parking, spectators, or buildings. A fence can therefore use different sections instead of one uniform height around the full perimeter. Areas with a greater risk of balls leaving the court may be raised or locally reinforced. The system still needs good visibility, so mesh size, post spacing, and the position of rails and gates are considered together. Gate positions and higher-risk sides can be adjusted to the actual court surroundings. On sites beside roads, parking areas, or buildings, the higher-risk side can use a taller or stronger fence section.
