Welding Fixing: Welding is one of the most common methods for fixing steel structure columns. It uses arc welding to fix the column to the foundation or concrete base, ensuring column stability. The advantages of this method are simple structure, high reliability, and strong corrosion resistance. However, its disadvantages include the need to strengthen the foundation or concrete base to withstand the high temperatures and pressures generated during welding. Furthermore, repairing or replacing the column is relatively difficult.

 

Expansion Bolt Fixing: Expansion bolt fixing is another common method. Its basic principle is to utilize the anchoring capacity of the bolt and the wear resistance of the foundation or concrete base to fix the column. Expansion bolts have advantages such as easy installation, reusability, and low cost. However, its disadvantages include the need to select suitable bolts and ensure that the bolt anchoring depth and force meet design requirements.

 

Anchor Bolt Fixing: Anchor bolt fixing works by embedding prefabricated anchor bolts in the foundation or concrete base to fix the column. This method offers advantages such as convenient installation, reliability, stability, and the ability to withstand strong forces. However, its cost is relatively high, and it requires calculations and precise control of anchor bolt depth and strength parameters during the initial construction phase; otherwise, the column may become unstable or even collapse.

In summary, each of the three methods for fixing steel structure columns has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the appropriate method should be selected based on the specific circumstances. When choosing a fixing method, factors such as the column's structural characteristics, the surrounding environment, and construction costs should be considered.
